It has been 10 years and a lifetime ago since I published Bella's Tale.
Bella went to a family in Michigan. Sadly, I do not know how her life turned out.
As I look back a decade later, I am grateful for those lessons Bella taught me.
My young German Shepherd Diesel mentioned in my Bella blog, was buried this year at the old age of 12. He was a faithful and loyal companion, and my heart feels heavy still, as I type these words and remember him.
My life has changed in so many ways since a decade ago when I first wrote Bella's Tale. I am happier and more content. I am also older and grayer.
I noticed today, a comment made by my dad to one of my posts in Bella's Tail. He is in his 80's now and has advanced Alzheimers. It was bitter-sweet to see his comment today.
I will keep this blog up and running as long as the server will allow it. If you are wanting to foster or wanting to adopt I wish you the best in your endeavors. I to this day, do not regret mine.
