I am teaching her in both the Sign Language for "Sit" as well as giving the verbal command. She got this one down within 3 days. We did several quick sessions a day. So I know Bella is smart and able to learn. It is just that up until now, no one has taught her what is proper doggy behavior. She has learned NOT to jump on furniture. She has the occasional slip-up, but has come SO far in just the two weeks I have had her.
She will get her sutures from the spay out on Monday and will be available for adoption after that.
